De gitarist en bassist van My Favorite Scar (Dan en Pat) hebben in samenwerking met Cort Guitars twee nieuwe gitaarmodellen ontwikkeld. Het betreft een electrische gitaar voor Dan gebaseerd op de M-serie en een basgitaar voor Pat gebaseerd op de Artisan B4 serie. Zie voor de details pbmusic.nl en de website van My Favorite Scar.

The writing process is going really well. We recorded lots of demos already! We're really content with 8 of them and will be working till we have enough good songs to fill an album. The general feel of the songs is dark, atmospheric & melancholic and more mature than on our debut. We will be posting more Scar Channel webisodes and sneak peaks of the songs soon.
On December 28 Jay will be performing live with STREAM OF PASSION, alongside Charlotte of Delain, Marjan of Autumn and ex- After Forever key wizard Joost van den Broek. This is going to be a very special evening!

Our trip to Germany was crazy but very cool! We drove 800 km to Bischofswerda near the Czech border to headline the Guitar Fight Club fest on Friday. We had a total blast! Today we did a signing session in Dresden together with Tommy Vetterli (Coroner, Kreator) & Nina Treml (69 Chambers). Thx to our new German friends for all the support, you rule!

MY FAVORITE SCAR SIGNS INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT DEAL
Besides having played 3 shows on last weeks' Eurosonic / Noorderslag Festival (NL), Dutch dark rockers My Favorite Scar signed an international management deal with Berlin (GE) based management group Halbe Miete (Apocalyptica, Heather Nova, The 69 Eyes).
We had a kick ass time at the Eurosonic / Noorderslag weekend. Played 3 shows and loved every minute. Thx fans, thx Groningen!

Dear friends! unfortunately we had to cancel the Simplon show in Groningen on Friday May 14, due to unforeseen circumstances. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will definitely come up with a new date later this year though! Already bought tickets will remain valid. Next show will be May 24 in Heerhugowaard, where we will be supporting Epica. We hope to see you guys then and there! Horns up!
